December News Round-Up

December blew in with respite from Nano deadlines and the muffled loveliness of snow. Emeline enjoyed her first ride in a sled,

a visit from friends,

and even helped me with the Christmas baking candy making and decorating this year. Not only did my little squirt help me unwrap caramels,

but also she filled up my glass jars with cranberries. As you can see, I have a little shadow.

Then we were off to find our Christmas tree

and commence with the traditional holiday festivities.

Before we were ready, the time arrived to say so long and farewell to our kinfolk.

Bye-bye to The One Who Never Walks and Only Runs:

Bye-bye to The One With the Sweetest Heart:

Bye-Bye to The Newest, Snuggly, Kissable Addition:

We can't wait to see you all again (and your parents too)!

We have been blessed beyond measure with a loving, caring, family, on both sides! We always look forward to the holidays--for many reasons!--but one is the special, extended time we take for making new memories with our parents and siblings, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and grandparents.

So long and farewell to 2010!
